Eastside Pond View Campsite

Eastside Pond View Campsite is a secluded, private single camping site that’s all yours for your stay! Simply drive up, unhitch (or pitch your tent), and relax.

Eastside Pond View exclusive use RV & travel trailer campsite

Our campsite has an open airy feel while you gaze out over the calm waters of the pond. The NRG Sanctuary includes a hill on the South side, the hardwood bush to the West, a gazebo to the North, and a row of shrubs and trees on the East side of the pond making it quite private. There’s a lovely big apple and maple tree if you want some shade from the midday sun.

Enjoy scenic views across the pond as you sip your morning cup of coffee. Bask in the glorious sunshine almost all day long by the tranquil pond, or watch the wildlife from the cool shade of your private gazebo.

At night, cook up a delicious dinner on the gas BBQ, then just kick back beside a flaming fire pit (we’ll provide your first bag of wood). Watch the sunset across the fields on a summer’s evening with a cool beer from one of our local breweries or wine from a local vineyard. Local Attractions >

Here at NRG Sanctuary, you simply step out of your RV to enjoy the nature surrounding you. There’s 10km private trails to hike or bike, our pond to paddle around and our river to fish in. Or refresh your mind and body with one of our exclusive wellness and spa options.

Eastside Pond View Campsite Rental FAQs

All your questions answered about our campsite in Ontario.

We ask all those camping on our sole use RV space to:

  • Check in after 3pm
  • Check out before 11 am
  • Summer essentials: bug spray, sunscreen, water shoes and lifejacket (for canoe use), beach and swimming towels. We do have some lifejackets available to borrow but we may not have one in your size.
  • Bring your own binoculars for birdwatching
  • Please bring your own fresh food and beverages

We offer a potable water hookup for your RV.

To preserve the peace and quiet of our natural surroundings, no generators are permitted. We provide an electrical hookup suitable for powering your RV fridge and recharging batteries only.

We do not have a sewerage hookup facility. A portable toilet with a hand washing station will be provided and cleaned regularly. There is a RV dump station in Clinton, 10 minutes away, that is open May 1st to October 31st

Find it here.

Extra firewood, birdseed, gift certificates, are available to buy on request. We do not have an onsite store. However, frozen food and bakery goods can be purchased by phone in advance from local suppliers and delivered in time for check-in.

You are welcome to borrow:

  • Beach towels
  • Outdoor games
  • Our canoe (for onsite pond use only unless you have a secure way to transport)
  • 2 mountain bikes

Just ask! We usually have a few extra items to hand, or we can direct you to the nearest store!

At NRG Sanctuary, we take the cleanliness of our campsite seriously. So before you arrive, we will carefully clean down the gazebo, furniture, table, BBQ and firepit grill.

We will provide a portable toilet with a hand washing station for you, and this will be cleaned regularly from 1 May - 31 October. Please note we do not have a sewage hookup – the nearest is in Clinton 10 mins drive away. As part of our mission to preserve the natural beauty of our surroundings, we do not allow any form of discharge or emptying of wastewater.

There is no WiFi available and cell reception is extremely limited. To be honest, it’s a great reason to switch off the tech and just chill out! There is a landline at our onsite residence for emergencies, and cell phone reception is available at the junction with the main road.

Sorry, no dogs or other pets are permitted at NRG Sanctuary at any time of year, including hunting dogs. We want the local wildlife to enjoy the safe and peaceful surroundings as much as we do!

Our inside swim spa is usually open from 11am - 9pm. You’ll need to book an appointment when both the campsite and cabin are being rented to separate families. It is only available to those that have a usable shower in their RV.

Our Eastside Pond View Campsite RV trailer camping site is 100 yards away from our home, and also 100 yards from our tiny cabin. (link) Rest assured, your campsite and the cabin are both private and separated from each other by trees and a small hill.

The good news is that you can rent both together for larger family gatherings and holidays if you wish, at a very special rate! Contact us for details!
